Hotel Oktogon
There is a mix of economy rooms, superior rooms, deluxe rooms, and suites reserved under our reservation. If more of any type needs to be added, feel free to contact Sara or Steven.
Room rates begin at €100 for single occupancy per night, and €115 for double occupancy per night. Breakfast is €10 per person/night and can be added during booking or daily at check-in.
The Room Block booking code is active for bookings anytime between August 18-24 and August 26-28.
The rates are inclusive of all taxes (VAT and local tax), wireless internet usage in the entire hotel, and the wellness area usage (sauna and fitness room). Additional features include brand new mattresses for a comfortable sleep, and A/C.
Located on the famous “Andrassy Ut”, (wide, has bike lanes and lots of e-scooters) at a main intersection of 2 subway lines crossing (one of which is the first electric underground in Europe).
This location is walking distance from: House of Terror Museum, Heroes Square, Szecsenyi Baths and the City Park, close enough to walk from the Ruin Bar district.

Hotel Oktogon was selected for its location, amenities, and median price point. However, you are more than welcomed to find your own spot as well! The shuttle pick-up for the wedding venue portion of the weekend will be in front of Hotel Oktogon.
1. Avenue Hostel
Right next door to the Hotel Oktogon. Private rooms seem similarly priced, but if you’re travelling solo and don’t mind a hostel setting, it has great reviews!
2. Netizen Hybrid Hotel
We stayed here last time we were in Budapest. It is a great option for groups of friends as you can get your own private multi-bed room. The building is clean, well-decorated, quiet, and central. It is a quick 8-minute public transit from the Oktogon (1.6km in distance), and next to a major transportation hub, the Keleti Train Station. Also, it is conveniently located next to the instagram famous New York Cafe.
—Alsóbogát—
The Festetics-Inkey Castle in Alsóbogát was built in the 1760s as a Benediction Abbey. The Festetics family turned it into a castle around 1860. For the weekend, we have exclusive use of the 17 hectares Castle Park!
There is an assortment of different rooms and sleeping arrangements across different buildings on and around the estate. We will be assigning the rooms once we receive our RSVPs, and grouping friends and families together. The accommodation has already been reserved for our wedding's travelling guest's full capacity.
For our local guests, we will be reaching out to assist to sort out local accommodation for the night.
Our all-inclusive wedding rate ranges from €130 to €195 per person for the wedding dates (August 24 - 26), depending on which building and room you stay in. The rate includes 2 nights' accommodation, dinner on Saturday night including wine and beer (on us), breakfast and lunch on Sunday as well as breakfast on Monday. The wedding is on Sunday evening, so all of your meals at the venue during these 2 days are covered.
We will be reaching out to you at the beginning of June to begin room assignments and arrangements, with booking instructions provided for your accommodation.
