We are thrilled to host all of our worldly travelling guests for an elegant dinner and a welcome glass of champagne at the High Note Sky Bar on the roof of the 5-star Aria Hotel Budapest. Our way of saying thank you for travelling all this way for us. We have rented out the entire upper floor and rooftop skybar and will be serving a variety of foods in canapé form (enough to equal a dinner). Champagne will be served as a welcome drink and the bar will be open to purchase a variety of cocktails, wines, and beer. As you all know, Sara is a little bit of a cocktail connoisseur, and their cocktail concoctions are Sara-approved. Dress Code: Garden Party Attire (no flip flops or shorts).

Free morning in Budapest. Go to one of the baths, check out a Saturday morning market, grab brunch, or knock off one last activity before leaving in the afternoon for the venue. Bag drop will be available at Hotel Oktogon after check-out before the shuttle departs. Or, leave Budapest on your own first thing in the morning, and explore the Lake Balaton area along the way.

We will have a shuttle bus departing from the Oktogon hotel at 2:00PM for those that wish to use it. Cost per person will be $50 and will include returning to Budapest on Monday late afternoon at 5:00pm. To opt-in to the shuttle, please RSVP Yes to that event on the RSVP. For those that wish to rent a car and drive themselves, we will see you there!

Note: Local guests will not see this option on their RSVP as we assume you have your own method of transport. If we assumed incorrectly, please reach out and let us know to add you!

We will arrive at Villa Bogart around 4:00, at which point people can settle into their rooms and check out the grounds!

Our first night at the venue will be a casual evening: Traditional Hungarian Goulash dinner cooked in a cauldron over a fire. This dinner will be provided for all of our travelling guests staying at the Villa Bogart venue for the weekend.

Breakfast will be served for all venue guests in the Old Timers Garage building in the middle of the Villa Bogart property. The breakfast buffet will include: scrambled eggs, cold cuts, various cheeses, various cereals, muesli, homemade jam from fruit on the property, yogurt, cottage cheese, fresh pastries, breads, scones, homemade syrups, vegetables, fresh fruits, coffee, tea, a selection of juices. Dietary requirements listed in the RSVP will be accommodated.

Lunch will be available for all Villa Bogart venue guests. Sandwiches and salad. Served in the Old Timers Garage.

The ceremony will be held inside the Festetics-Inkey Castle.

Dinner and the party will be held inside the Granary. Look forward to an evening filled with traditional Hungarian food, Hungarian dancing, and traditional wedding games. Traditional midnight snack of cabbage rolls will also be served.

Hungarian weddings are known for going long into the night, so prepare yourself! The open bar will be available until the last person goes to sleep and we were told by the venue that the only ones we can disturb are the birds!
